Laban, UP Fighting Maroons!

Ganyan ang linya namin noong nasa kolehiyo pa lang kami. Paano kasi’y laging kawawa noon ang basketball team ng UP Naming Mahal.

Kahapon nga, sa office, sobrang na-excite kami sa laban ng Maroons at Blue Eagles. Nakakanerbyos! Pero sa bandang huli, nangibabaw tayong mga taga-Peyups.

Sabi nga lang ng Inquirer, “Unbelievable UP Maroons shock Eagles.” Noong 1986 pa pala tayo huling nanalo nang limang sunud-sunod na panalo. Nalagpasan ito kahapon dahil nakapagtala ng ikaanim na panalo ang UP Maroons. Nananalig tayong magtuluy-tuloy na ito.
