It’s funny how no one remembers partly because it’s libelous to darken the memory of one who is dead.
Senator Cayetano had his share of run-ins with infamy, but what we’ll all remember is how he lived the last few years of his life with dignity (at least as much dignity after having served in the Senate of the Republic of the Philippines).
All said, Senator Cayetano was a decent man. That’s more than I can say for most of the senators currently in office.

at least, pumanaw siyang may nagawang maganda kahit na papaano. isa siya sa mga senador na buksan ang envelope noong impeachment. kahit na may signos siya ng pagkatrapo, di naman siya tumulad sa buwayang si tatad.
matibay din ang pananampalataya niya sa Dios. sinabi niya sa panayam sa kanya ni dong puno, “give at least ten seconds of your time to God.”
kailangan pa sana siya sa senado.
di ako maapektuhan kung si lacson ang namatay.
