Mabuhay ang PLDT.com

Matagal-tagal na rin ang balita–nang mismong araw na lumabas ito ay nakatanggap ako ng text mula kay Jed Domingo–ng pagkakapanalo ng PLDT.com ni Gerry Kaimo ng Philippine League for Democratic Telecommunications, Inc. sa domain name dispute nila ng Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company, pero kahapon ko lang siya nabati sa text.

Muli kong ipinapaabot ang pagbati sa PLDT.com!

Nagsimula bilang isang protest website laban sa planong phone metering ng PLDT, naging isa sa mga pangunahing website ang PLDT.com ng kilusang resign-impeach-oust Estrada noong 2000. Ito ang nanguna sa kauna-unahang malawakang “cyber rally” laban kay Estrada noong ~~November 2000~~ October 27, 2000.

Idinemanda ito ng PLDT dahil sa paggamit ng domain name na PLDT.com.
