Cyberfriend Markku

When I first saw an earlier version of his old web site, I just had to send Markku Seguerra a message telling him how impressed I was with his design. He replied to the message and later became one of my best online friends. We don’t really hang out together in the real world except during Peyups.com EBs, but he’s always there to help, especially when Marjorie — my personal computer — fails me. In fact, I’ve been bugging him about a new design for Tinig.com. Today’s his birthday, and you may greet him at his newly redesigned site.

Ederic is a Filipino communications worker in the telecom, media, and technology industry. He writes about K-dramas and Korean celebrities for Hallyudorama.

He used to be a social media manager for news at GMA Network, where he also headed YouScoop, GMA News and Public Affairs’ citizen journalism arm.

He was with Yahoo! Philippines for more than three years before returning to GMA Network, where he was also previously part of the News Research section.
