For Palm newbies, check out It’s a Palm Thing (www.palmthing.com). It’s a nice site with an interactive flash presentation that demonstrates the uses of a Palm Treo.

It appears like those PC games that let you explore a simulated environment. The presentation starts with what appears to be a village’s main road in between two buildings. Using the arrows on your keyboard, you may “walk” forward and encounter strange objects along the way. Just click on these objects and you will be shown a certain Palm feature or function.

When I clicked on a strange creature moving under the trees, this message popped up: “Proof. It’s a Palm thing. Take that unbelievable shot and then send it easily as a text message or e-mail.” The pop up message can also has a link to a how-to page and share-to-others link.

I found PalmThing.com through an advertisement at TechCrunch.com
