Huli na pala ako sa balita. Pero salamat sa blog ni James Sarmiento, nalaman kong may RSS na pala ang INQ7.net. Matagal na pala itong nai-announce ni Joey Alarilla sa blog niya, hindi ko lang nabasa.
Ang ibig sabihin ng RSS ay really simple syndication. Isa istong file format. Sa pamamagitan nito, ang bahagi ng nilalaman ng isang website ay maaaring gamitin ng iba pang sites. (Basahin sa Wikipedia ang mas malawak na impormasyon.) Halimbawa, sa kaso ng INQ7, ang headlines nila ay pwede kong i-display sa isang bahagi ng aking website sa pamamagitan ng RSS feeds nila. Awtomatiko itong maa-update nang wala akong ginagalaw.
Sinubukan kong gumamit ng free converter sa www.rss-to-javascript.com. Para lang akong nagsa-sign ng guestbook. Inilagay ko ang address ng RSS feed at pinili ang ibang options na gusto ko. Maganda naman ang kinalabasan. Magagamit ko ito sa Tinig.com.
Sana lang, hindi magkaroon ng mahigpit na restriction ang INQ7 sa paggamit ng kanilang RSS feeds.
