State of the Nation with Jessica Soho

More and more viewers are turning to State of the Nation with Jessica Soho on GMA News TV as their nightly news authority.

By providing depth and context to the headlines, State of the Nation earned a Certificate for Creative Excellence at the 2012 US International Film and Video Festival (USIFVF). Its anchor, Jessica Soho, was chosen as Reader’s Digest’s Most Trusted News Presenter for 2011 and 2012 and Comguild’s Most Outstanding News Presenter for this year.

State of the Nation has made a mark for getting first and exclusive interviews: breaking the silence of figures such as DILG Undersecretary Ronaldo Puno the day he resigned. It has seen no less than the President of the Philippines, Noynoy Aquino, answer tough questions a day after his State of the Nation address in 2011.

The latest in its roster of exclusive interviews is Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) founding Chairman Nur Misuari the day the Bangsamoro Framework Agreement was signed. Soho’s interviews promise only one thing: at the end of the day, viewers are sure to gain added knowledge and a wider perspective.

Tagged by viewers as the intense Q&A portion of the show, State of the Nation with Jessica Soho’s remote reports differ from others because of the anchor’s signature banter with reporters on site. The public can trust Soho to ask the right questions and reporters to be ready with well-researched answers.

The newscast also blazes the trail for insightful enterprise stories in its GMA News Investigates and Assignment Pilipinas segments.

State of the Nation with Jessica Soho is tougher, smarter, and more curious — all in the name of GMA News and Public Affairs’ Serbisyong Totoo. Don’t miss it week nights at 9 PM on GMA News TV Channel 11.
