PLDT rolls out ‘Fibr City’ program

Leading telecoms and digital services provider PLDT has stepped up its roll-out of fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) facilities in strategic urban centers nationwide with Toledo City in Cebu province becoming its first ever “Fibr City” project, where families and enterprises can enjoy world-class internet connectivity.

Through a partnership with the Toledo City government, the FTTH roll-out will serve the data connectivity needs of this fast-growing city with its mining industry and burgeoning tourism sector. PLDT is opening a Sales and Service Center on D. Macapagal Highway to serve its growing customer base in the city.

“Vow,” “Crush,” at “Date” ng Jollibee

UPDATED: Pinag-uusapan ngayon sa iba’t ibang sulok ng social media world ang mga video ad ng Jollibee para sa Valentine’s Day.

Sa isang video, tampok ang isang nerd na binata (Enrico Cuenca) na laging nagbibigay ng burger na may kasamang sweet Post-It messages sa kaniyang crush (Ash Ortega). Kaya lang, ang kaniyang sinisinta, may boyfriend na pala.

Pagkalipas ng maraming taon, sa kanilang alumni homecoming, muling binigyan ng lalaki ang babae ng burger na may nakadikit na mensahe, at magugulat ka sa sasabihin niya sa babae.

Wanted: Web Rangers for Google

Google is searching for a new batch of Web Rangers in the Philippines to make a campaign to encourage their peers to use the internet for good. Now on its second year, the competition’s campaign theme is digital literacy and the aim is to explore what netizens can do to use the internet for meaningful activities that will help them pursue their passion, develop new talents and skills and discover things that can help the youth level up.
