I was on my way to the bank this morning when I saw BayanDSL’s banner saying something like “1,286 kbps for as low as 899”. This got me curious because my plan, which costs P1,200 (899 for the DSL and 300 for the phone line), only gives me a maximum of 700+ kbps even with the speed-on-demand promo. I called their sales hotline in the afternoon and asked if the offer is only for new customers. I was told it’s also available for existing subscribers and I must call their customer service. The CS rep just verified my details and told me he’ll upgrade my account, and the changes would take effect within 24 hours.
